Liz Benjamin is a communications and strategic policy consultant and the Managing Director of Marathon Strategies’ Albany office. Liz has two decades of reporting experience in state and city government and previously hosted “Capital Tonight,” a landmark political and policy show on Spectrum News. Liz’s expertise in print, TV, and digital reporting brings a unique knowledge of downstate and upstate issues and the levers of power that influence them. In her spare time, Liz enjoys hiking, biking, weightlifting, triathlon and ultra-marathons. She grew up in New Paltz, and attended the University of Rochester and Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.
