John R Tigue is an Energy Consultant involved in the identification and development of renewable and non-renewable projects in the ISO markets.  He delivers project proformas that address land site acquisition, permitting timeline, ISO interconnection issues/costs, off-take contracts (energy RECs and capacity), and gas supply/transportation contracts. He acquires equity partners for the Projects. Mr Tigue Provides guidance in the area of renewable energy rules/procedures in the ISO-NE, PJM, and NY markets. He assists in developing  strategies to provide maximum revenue for renewable energy credits (“RECs”) portfolio. Mr Tigue has 40 years of experience in the bulk power industry. He has experience in ISO operations (NYISO, PJM, and ISO-NE) in the areas of (i) transmission planning/scheduling, (ii) unit bidding/scheduling, (iv) energy delivery, and (v) electric capacity markets. Mr Tigue has worked as an Energy Consultant after having worked for New York State Electric & Gas for 38 years. He had most recently served as Manager Electric Supply. He has been an active participant in the NYISO, PJM, and ISO-NE working groups refining the  market structure and developing methods to improve the market design, including all aspects of its energy, ancillary services, transmission and capacity markets. Mr. Tigue earned an Associates Degree from the University of Scranton, a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Detroit, a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Masters in Business Administration from Syracuse University.
