ALBANY— The Business Council of New York State, Inc., today announced the creation of the Capital Business Blog (http://capitalbusinessblog.bcnys.org). Its primary function will be to serve as a sounding board and an open forum on issues relating to advocacy for employers in the state political and policy-making arena. It will be a means of communicating ideas that promote economic growth, good jobs and a strong economy across New York State.

The Capital Business Blog will be the place to talk about state government and how what happens in Albany affects businesses and the community. We hope to be the primary source for readers to connect with all the political activities that take place in the halls of government. Although topics of the blog will often focus on what is going on in our capital city and the work being done at the capitol, it will include items from across the state and the nation when needed.

The Business Council encourages everyone to visit the Capital Business Blog, to comment on the topics that interest them, and to tell their customers and colleagues about the new service. We look forward sharing your posting and opening up a dialog with our members and the public about legislation and ideas that are important to the businesses and the people of New York.
