Higher Education Tax Exclusion
Thursday, December 16, 2021
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) included an expansion of the federal Employer Tuition Assistance program which allows employers to provide up to $5,250 in educational expenses as a tax-free fringe benefit to their employees. This includes undergraduate and graduate-level courses. This exclusion now includes student loan payments that an employer can pay as a benefit, up to $5,250 annually, through 2025. We’ll have experts join us to discuss how this could help attract and retain valuable workers.
