By Hayley Tsukayama The Justice Department approved deals between Verizon Wireless and several cable companies Thursday under conditions to ensure that the proposals to swap spectrum and to cross-promote services would not harm competition in the telecommunications industry. The agency worked with the Federal Communications Commission and the New York State Attorney General's Office on conditions for the deals' approval
