Bill Kregel is the Vice President, Government Affairs for BorgWarner. In this role, Bill is responsible for leading BorgWarner’s global government affairs team and is focused on strategic economic development and influencing legislation and regulation impacting BorgWarner’s products and business.
Bill joined BorgWarner in 2019 and previously served as Corporate Counsel Americas, responsible for commercial matters and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to BorgWarner, he was corporate counsel at SRG Global and a partner at Dykema Gossett. He started his career as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert Holmes Bell in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. Bill holds a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wheaton College (IL).
