Udayan has over 18 years of in the utilities industry having worked with three electricity system operators (NYISO, IESO & AESO), Ontario's largest generator (OPG), a leading transmitter (Hydro One) and a vertically integrated utility (ENMAX). He has worked in three verticals of the power industry including transmission, generation and system operations.
Udayan has held roles of increasing responsibility in a number of diverse functional domains such as power systems engineering, energy trading and system operations. His responsibilities have included leading teams that perform detailed engineering studies, develop frameworks for energy markets and provide round-the-clock support to real-time operations.
Udayan’s professional experience is complemented by a strong academic foundation and theoretical understanding having both a Masters in Engineering (M.Eng.) and Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.).
