Santosha Oliver, Ph.D. serves as Assistant Commissioner in the Office of Standards and Instructional Programs at the New York State Education Department. In this role, she provides strategic leadership for the Offices of Standards and Instruction, Educational Design and Technology, and Career and Technical Education, advancing statewide efforts to reimagine P-12 education and expand access to high-quality, engaging learning opportunities for all students.

With more than 20 years of experience in public education, Dr. Oliver has served as a classroom teacher, school leader, and district administrator. She is recognized for building strong partnerships across education, government, workforce, higher education, and community sectors to advance student-centered innovation and continuous improvement. Her work is grounded in a commitment to educational excellence, equity, and opportunity, with a focus on strengthening curriculum, instructional design, and systems that prepare every student for success in college, career, and civic life.
