Ray Wuslich is Of Counsel in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and focuses his practice on a broad crosssection of clients participating in the electric and natural gas industries, with a focus on matters before FERC.
His practice includes counseling on transactional and regulatory matters, as well as regulatory litigation. Ray represents traditional utilities, merchant and renewable generators, independent transmission companies, commercial banks and investment banks, private equity investors, hedge funds, and trade organizations. He assists clients with regulatory strategy, structuring transactions to comply with regulatory requirements, preparation of filings and litigation of contested proceedings involving utility rates and transmission incentives, mergers and acquisitions, FERC investigations, enforcement actions, and show cause proceedings.

Ray is regularly recognized by publications such as Chambers USA, which from 2011-2018 has ranked him in Energy: Electricity (Regulatory & Litigation). He was also recently ranked in Chambers Global 2016 in the area of Energy: Electricity Regulatory & Litigation USA. In 2011 and 2013-2019, Ray was recommended for energy litigation and regulatory by The Legal 500. Since 2008, he has been recognized as a Washington, D.C.
