“The recent decision in the U.S District Court for the Northern District of New York is yet another victory for New York’s business community," said Heather Mulligan, President and CEO of The Business Council of New York State, Inc. "The implementation of this law would have resulted in higher costs to consumers and possible limited access to call centers during regional weather events. New York businesses want to operate efficiently and not be subjected to unnecessary regulations or government policies that will only create barriers. We were proud to stand with National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation in challenging this law and are grateful for the court's careful consideration of this case.
