The Business Council’s Political Action Committee Seeks Candidates for 2026 Endorsement
ALBANY – The Business Council’s Political Action Committee (PAC) today announced it is actively seeking candidates running for statewide office in 2026 who are interested in earning the organization’s endorsement.
The PAC invites qualified candidates to engage in its endorsement process, which evaluates individuals based on their commitment to policies that promote economic growth, job creation, and a strong business climate across New York State.
“Supporting candidates who understand the needs of employers and the broader economy is central to our mission,” said Heather Mulligan, President & CEO of The Business Council of New York State, Inc.
Endorsements are based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s voting record, their engagement with The Business Council on issues important to the association’s advocacy agenda, a candidate’s response to the PAC’s policy questionnaire, and their positions on key business issues.
