Kevin Lanahan

Kevin Lanahan is the Vice President of External Affairs & Corporate Communications for the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO). The NYISO operates New York’s high-voltage transmission system, manages the state’s competitive wholesale electricity markets, and conducts comprehensive power system planning. He has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry working previously for Con Edison and National Grid.
Mr. Lanahan earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Political Science from the State University of New York at Oneonta and holds an MBA from Norwich University. He graduated from Con Edison’s executive management program and attended Harvard Business School’s executive education program.
