Options for reforming New York’s property tax will be the focus of a conference from 9 a.m.-noon January 10 at the Rockefeller Institute in Albany.
Scheduled speakers include:
- Robert Ward, director of research for The Business Council and the Public Policy Institute.
- E.J. McMahon Jr. of the Empire Center of the Manhattan Institute, a conservative think tank.
- Frank Mauro of the Fiscal Policy Institute, a labor-backed think tank.
- Kent Gardner of the Center for Governmental Research.
- Jim Dunne of the Office of Real Property Services.
- David Gaskell of the Hudson Group.
- Elizabeth Karasmeighan of Americans for Tax Reform.
