Andrew Eristoff, commissioner of the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, will present the keynote address at The Business Council’s annual Conference on State Taxation, May 17-19 at the Otesaga in Cooperstown.

Advance registration for this popular annual conference is strongly encouraged, said Ellen Muir, director of conference development for The Business Council.

Eristoff will give the keynote address at dinner, on Tuesday, May 18.

The Business Council began sponsoring this annual conference in 1984, and it has become the top seminar of its kind, said Rich Schwarz, The Business Council's tax counsel.

The conference is designed to give professionals from the business sector an opportunity to network with the technical and policy experts who write and implement state tax laws. The agenda includes formal presentations on technical aspects of tax law and ample opportunities for networking.

The Business Council conducts this conference in collaboration with the state Department of Taxation and Finance.
