Statement in Response to the ‘Tax The Rich’ Rally
“If we want affordability, we must grow our tax base and not continue to penalize the employers and taxpayers who shoulder the weight of expensive and burdensome policies created in Albany. While affordability is a real issue, so too is outmigration and reallocation of wealth and income. Lawmakers need to make New York more competitive, not less, through policies and reforms that will entice businesses and residents to stay here.”
