The Business Council of New York State Inc. Approves Four New Board Members
Albany, NY – The Business Council of New York State Inc., on Monday, February 6, elected four new board members during a meeting of the Board of Directors. The meeting was held before The Business Council’s annual Legislators’ Reception in Albany.
The appointment of the four new members brings the total number of representatives on the Board of Directors to 51.
The approved directors included:
- Michael Edbauer, D.O.
- President, Highmark Western New York and Northeastern New York
- Junior Harewood
- Chief Executive Officer, UnitedHealthcare of New York, Employer & Individual
- John B. King, Jr.
- Chancellor, State University of New York (SUNY)
Chancellor King will serve in a non-voting capacity.

- Managing Partner, Metro New York City Office, Ernst & Young LLP (EY US)
