Mike Spector is currently the Senior Engineering Manager for GE Renewable Energy’s On-Shore Wind’s Grid Applications & Integration team. In this role, Mike leads a global grid engineering team with project applications execution and grid code integration for on-shore wind farms for GE. Mike has been with GE for almost 10 years, including a System Engineer role in GE Energy Storage and Senior Engineer / Technical Leader grid roles in GE Renewable Energy On-Shore Wind. Before joining GE, Mike spent over 10 years at Central Hudson Gas & Electric with roles in substation design, transmission planning and energy efficiency. Mike earned his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Binghamton University, MBA from Mount Saint Mary College and Masters of Engineering degree in Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He also is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State.
