Early Care & Learning Council (ECLC)
Meredith is the Executive Director of the Early Care & Learning Council (ECLC). ECLC is a statewide organization that works to increase the quality, affordability and capacity of the early care and learning field and does so through training and technical assistance, data management and advocacy initiatives. Its programs are provided to and in partnership with our network of 35 local Child Care Resource & Referral programs across New York State. Meredith co-chairs the Goal 8 of the Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) which look at actionable and long-term strategies are in place to fund essential elements for New York State’s mixed-delivery system. Meredith also is on the Steering Committee of Raising NY, and a member of the Child Care Availability Task Force.
Prior to ECLC Meredith served as the Senior Vice President of Community Impact at the United Way of the Greater Capital Region, where Meredith implemented and communicated the strategic vision of the United Way to improve lives for low income and vulnerable populations. Meredith also enacted best practices in community impact, mobilized resources and implemented creative solutions to change community conditions.
