Mr. Doster, a Professional Engineer, earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from the University at Buffalo. Mr. Doster has over 35 years of experience in the fields of hazardous waste remediation and wastewater engineering and was the Regional Engineer for the Division of Environmental Remediation in Buffalo, NY for over 26 years. Included in the arena of Environmental Remediation are projects conducted under the State’s Superfund Program, Brownfield Cleanup Program, Environmental Restoration Program and Emergency Response.
Currently Mr. Doster is the Chief Operating Officer and Sr. Environmental Advisor at Lippes Mathias LLP. Mr. Doster has been an adjunct faculty member teaching engineering at the University of Buffalo. Mr. Doster has lectured state-wide on the topic of remediation to various audiences.
Mr. Doster will present information on the topic of New York State’s Brownfield Cleanup Program and explore ways that Real Estate professionals can take advantage of current environmental policies to re-develop abandoned and under-utilized urban properties.
