Mark is the chief of the Enforcement Section in the Division of Air Resource’s Bureau of Stationary Sources. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Clarkson University and has been a licensed professional engineer since 2014.

Mark began his career at DEC in 2007 and has spent the past 15 years with the agency focusing on air permitting. He has extensive experience in stationary source permitting, inspections, and enforcement at the staff level and more recently as the chief of the Enforcement Section within the Bureau of Stationary Sources. In addition to his other duties, Mark is responsible for the development and implementation of DEC guidance related to the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act and air permitting.
