Statement on the Comptroller's Report New York State Won’t Regain Lost Jobs From COVID Until 2026
"The Comptroller's report reflects what The Business Council has highlighted for several years: job growth and stronger economies are occurring in almost every state except New York. It's no coincidence that this trend continues while New York is consistently near the bottom of the list in almost every important business-friendly category. Our hope is lawmakers see this report and begin the necessary steps to turn our state's economy around."
