New Board Chair, Six New Directors Elected to Serve The Business Council of New York State Inc.

Newly Elected Officers Announced at Annual Meeting

Albany, NY – Donna DeCarolis, President of National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation was recently elected Chair of The Business Council of New York State Inc., Board of Directors. In addition to the newly elected Chair, a vice chair and six new directors were elected to the Board.

The election process was done as part of The Business Council’s Board and Annual Meetings, held virtually on September 23, 24 and 25.

Prior to being elected Chair, Ms. DeCarolis recently served as Vice Chair and Secretary of the 49-person board made up of executives from member companies of The Business Council of New York State Inc., Ms. DeCarolis replaces outgoing Chair Eric Mower, Chairman & CEO of Mower, who served three terms as Board Co-Chair and his most recent term as Board Chair. Mr. Mower continues to serve on the Board as immediate past chairman.

In addition to the election of Ms. DeCarolis, Kimberly Townsend, President and Chief Executive Officer of Loretto, was elected vice chairperson. 

The Business Council membership elected six new directors on September 24, including:

Members serving on the Board of Directors serve a three-year term.
