Join The Business Council, New York State Office of Children and Family Services, The Education Trust-New York, and the Early Care and Learning Council for a discussion on child care deserts and their impact on business and communities statewide. Child care deserts are areas of the state without enough child care for working families. Over 60% of New York State is categorized as a “desert.” This webinar will give an overview of the Child Care Desert initiative, walk through the impact on communities when there isn’t enough child care, and discuss how businesses can support the expansion of this vital resource.
