This meeting is for Business Council members only.
The CCIA would impose a 'polluter fee' on businesses holding permits under Title V of the federal Clean Air Act, as well as on motor fuels and natural gas. Initial projections show that these fees would cost NY businesses, as well as consumers and end-use customers, billions of dollars annually. The significance of this legislation cannot be understated, and this meeting is designed to provide an overview of the bill as well as to initiate a collaborative discussion about advocacy in opposition.
