Doug McClaine joined Plug in June of 2021. The Director of Project Execution on Plug’s Global Infrastructure team, McClaine plays a key role in strategically expanding Plug’s manufacturing and warehouse operations as well as managing Capital Improvements to Plug’s existing facilities across the globe. Most recently Doug was the Project Manager on Plug’s new 400,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Albany, New York. A project that took just 9 months to complete from ground breaking to first day of manufacturing. In addition to duties on the Infrastructure team, Doug works with Plug’s Government Affairs team to align operational objectives with applicable economic incentives and funding opportunities by project. Doug is the Program Manager leading Plug’s engagement across the country in conjunction with the Department of Energy’s Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub Funding Announcement. Prior to Plug, Doug McClaine worked for venue management company, ASM Global for 23 years.
