The Business Council and Center for Economic Growth will co-sponsor a conference on homeland security, Tuesday, January 17, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Albany.
The Homeland Security Convergence Conference will bring together the buyers of homeland security and defense-related technology with the providers of such products, including New York small businesses and research centers in New York State.
The agenda includes a panel of industry experts from Lockheed Martin, CACI International, Northrop Grumman, and The Shaw Group who will talk about current technology needs in the homeland security and national security market.
Participants will hear from the U.S. Army on its current technology interests, and the Paladin Capital Group will discuss venture opportunities in the homeland and national security market.
The conference will also give participants the opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives from the panel, other top government contractors and the U.S. Army. Registrants may participate in a poster session at the conference reception.
The Council is cosponsoring the conference with its Homeland Security Council and the Center for Economic Growth’s Watervliet Innovation Center.
The conference will run from 1 – 6 p.m. and requires pre-registration.
