Con Edison
Charles Umberger is a section manager on the bulk energy storage team at Con Edison where he manages the solicitations from RFP design to contract signing. Previously, he was on the demand response team where he was focused on the regulatory and design aspects of Con Edison’s electric and gas commercial and residential programs. Charlie holds a BA in economics from Dickinson College and MA in environmental policy and sustainability management from The New School. Prior to Con Edison, he managed the New York City department of education’s demand response portfolio and was an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps fellow.
