Berj Parseghian is a partner in the firm’s Environment & Energy Practice Team. Mr. Parseghian is an experienced litigator who concentrates his practice on lawsuits brought under federal and state environmental laws related to contaminated sites, including the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Mr. Parseghian represents energy, chemical, and manufacturing clients in some of the largest and most complex environmental matters across the country. He has significant experience with sites involving dioxins and furans, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), 1, 4-dioxane, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and graduate studies in chemistry at the California Institute of Technology.
Prior to joining Lippes Mathias LLP, Mr. Parseghian gained more than 20 years of experience litigating a broad range of complex matters in both
courtroom litigation and administrative practice, including environmental, product liability, toxic tort, and energy regulatory matters. He has
represented clients in a wide range of industries, including energy, chemicals, consumer products, refining, banking, government, healthcare, and beauty products.
