Join fellow golf and baseball enthusiasts for The Business Council’s 16th Annual Member Golf Classic! Attendees will experience unrivaled play on the beautiful Leatherstocking Golf Course, the world-class hospitality of The Otesaga Resort Hotel, mingle with a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame and experience American history at the Hall, all in Cooperstown, New York. Following a day of golf, competition, and camaraderie, relax and network at The Otesaga during our 19th hole awards reception. Then, join our state’s business leaders on a quaint trolley ride from The Otesaga to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. There, you will be treated to a first-class dessert reception, private access to the Hall of Fame Gallery, and hear from our guest of honor, Trevor Hoffman!
Trevor Hoffman
Transitioning from an infielder to a pitcher, despite having just one kidney and a fading fastball, Trevor Hoffman became one of baseball's most accomplished closers. Over his 18-year career in Major League Baseball from 1993 to 2011, Hoffman played for the Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres, and Milwaukee Brewers, with the majority of his tenure spent with the Padres. In 2011, the Padres paid tribute to Hoffman's contributions by retiring his jersey number, 51, a distinction shared by only a handful of players in Padres history and Jackie Robinson.
A California native, Hoffman has been actively involved in his community since his days with the Padres, supporting charitable causes such as the National Kidney Foundation, Rady Children’s Hospital, and various community and military outreach programs.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations are subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds after Monday, June 17. In the event of rain, evening events will still be held.

Please note that currently our room block at The Otesaga is Sold Out. You may call the hotel directly to reserve a room but we can not guarantee that the rate will be our group rate.
- Call the Reservations Office Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and weekends 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (hours may change) at 866-494-0085. Please mention the group name and the dates.
Hotel Cancellation Policy: A one-night deposit is required at booking to confirm your reservation. Cancellations between the booking date and 30 days prior to arrival will incur a $55.00 administrative fee (per room). At this 30-day period we will then charge the remaining balance of your stay and it becomes non-refundable. Failure to arrive on the confirmed arrival date will result in the cancellation of your stay and the forfeiture of your entire deposit. Cancellations or changes made within 30 days of arrival (Sunday, June 16) will result in entire deposit forfeiture.
