Carol Lamb-LaFay, P.E.

New York State Department of Environmental Conservation
Carol is the Director of the DEC's Division of Water. She is responsible for managing and directing the activities in the Division of Water which includes five Bureaus and nine Regions including and the Western Flood Hub and the Finger Lakes Hub.
Prior to this promotion, Carol served as the Director of the Bureau of Water Permits and responsible for the technical aspects of the state’s SPDES permits program which provides permit coverage for discharges of wastewater and stormwater.
She received her B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
