Mr. Catell was formerly Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of KeySpan Corporation and KeySpan Energy Delivery, as well as Chairman, National Grid, U.S.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center at Stony Brook University.
Mr. Catell is a member of the board of: Utility Technology Solutions, and Gen H (a hydropower company), Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership, Department of Education Diocese of Rockville Centre, Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, Futures in Education Endowment Fund, Long Island Association and National Petroleum Council. He is a member of the President’s Advisory Council at Molloy University and Adelphi University and an Executive in Residence at Hofstra University.
Mr. Catell is past Chairman of American Gas Association, NYS Smart Grid Consortium, Partnership for New York City, U.S. Energy Association, and the Advisory Board of the City College of New York’s School of Engineering.
Mr. Catell received his Bachelor’s and Master’s (Mechanical Engineering) from City College of NY and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
