ALBANY – The Business Council of New York State, Inc. announced Thursday that McDonald’s has been named its Member of the Year. The award will be given on Thursday, September 18, at The Business Council’s Annual Meeting at The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing.
McDonald’s is an iconic international business that maintains a substantial presence in New York State. Over the past year, McDonald’s has been an extensive supporter of The Business Council, providing invaluable input into both policy and workforce development efforts.
“On behalf of all the McDonald’s family Owner/Operators across New York, we are honored and grateful to be recognized as The Business Council of New York’s Member of the Year,” said McDonald’s Owner/Operator David Singelyn. “McDonald’s has always been a local brand at heart, with all restaurants across our great state owned by local small business owners and families. Much like the BCNY, we are relentlessly committed to building brighter futures for the local communities in which we live and operate, and for our crew and managers, who help make McDonald’s shine bright every day. We thank BCNY for this honor and for its valued partnership in working for a New York that supports its local businesses.”
