The Business Council Welcomes Will Williams to Government Affairs Team

ALBANY, NY – The Business Council of New York State, Inc. today announced that Will Williams has joined the government affairs team as a Senior Director of Government Affairs. In this role, he will be responsible for leading the Business Council’s advocacy efforts on AI/technology, consumer affairs, and financial services policy.

Prior to joining The Business Council, Will spent eight years at the New York State Assembly Ways & Means Committee. As the Deputy Director of Budget Studies for Consumer Affairs, Government Operations, Government Employees, and Public Safety, he led budget negotiations on the Assembly’s behalf, advised leadership on spending initiatives, and spearheaded fiscal analysis of major legislative proposals.

Will holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business from St. Lawrence University.
