Albany, N.Y.—The Political Action Committee of The Business Council of New York State, Inc. has endorsed Robert Ortt for New York State Senate in the 62nd District.

“Rob Ortt's governmental experience as North Tonawanda Mayor, where he has focused on that city's economic revival, and his commitment to the issues that are important to the business community, such as controlling state spending and taxes and reforming burdensome mandates, make him well-suited to represent upstate in the New York State Senate,” said Heather C. Briccetti, Esq., president and CEO of The Business Council.

“The Business Council strongly endorses Rob's candidacy and our members look forward to working with him on the critical issues necessary to create economic growth, good jobs and strong communities in Monroe, Niagara and Orleans counties,” Briccetti said.

The Business Council represents some 2,400 private sector employers in New York and our members include businesses of all sizes from across the State employing more than 1.2 million New Yorkers.
