The Business Council of New York State, Inc. will honor an outstanding member organization or individual who has demonstrated a strong commitment to giving back and service to their community. The award is named in honor of the inaugural recipient, Father Peter Young, who dedicated his life to improving the lives of those the system has left behind. The award will be presented at our 2022 Annual Meeting on September 22.
All nominations are accepted at the discretion of The Business Council and judged by a panel of Business Council employees.
- Have demonstrated a strong commitment to giving back and service to their community.
- Reflect the qualities of Father Peter Young described as a catalyst, an innovator and servant, using the strengths of his personality: exuberance, passion, humor and persistence to lead the charge for reforms and humane treatment for the impoverished, the addicted and socially disenfranchised.
- Be a member of The Business Council of New York State, Inc. for the past twelve consecutive months prior to the date of their nomination.
Nominations must be submitted by the close of business on Friday, August 19, 2022.
