About Small Business Day

Small Business Day has been critical to business’ efforts to convince lawmakers to make more affordable health insurance available to sole proprietors, reduce taxes, reform workers’ compensation and unemployment insurance, and make other critical improvements for New York State.

Why should I attend Small Business Day?

It’s a journey to the Capitol in Albany to be a part of the lawmaking process.

Directions / Parking/ Registration

From the South and West: Exit 23 off NYS Thruway to I-787 North, to Exit 3, Empire State Plaza. Follow signs to the V Parking Area.
From the North: I-87 South, to I-90 East, to I-787 South to Exit 3A, Empire State Plaza. Follow signs to the V Parking Area.
Parking is available at the rate of $8/day. Take the elevators to the Concourse Level, and follow signs for Convention Center. Be sure to have a picture ID available for identification.
Expect delays and capacity parking.
If your chamber/association is traveling to Albany by bus, passengers can be dropped off at the Madison Avenue entrance. Buses can park in the NYS Museum Parking lot, or in Lincoln Park at no charge.
Registration will be located directly outside the Convention Center. There will be security checkpoints at the entrances to the LOB and Capitol.

Hotel Information

There are a limited number of rooms available at the Crowne Plaza Albany at a special rate of $134 for Monday, March 26, 2007. For reservations call the Crowne Plaza directly at 518 / 462-6611 and ask for The Business Council’s room block.

$69.00 - After 3/20/07

To Cancel

Cancellations will be accepted until Tuesday, March 20, 2007, subject to a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be given after that time.
