About the Conference

Held for over 36 years, this two-day Environment Conference is the foremost of its kind in New York State. The conference brings together experts from both the private and public sectors to interact and share the latest information relevant to environmental issues in New York State.

Policy & Discussion Tracks

In response to past attendees requests, this year’s conference will provide attendees an opportunity to attend concurrent tracks, the policy track and the discussion track. The Policy Track will include speakers discussing specific government actions. The Discussion Track will provide an opportunity to explore with expert panelists the future of chemical policy, Federal CO2 controls and trends in waste management.

Environmental Committee Chairman’s Award

The Environmental Committee Chairman’s Award is intended to recognize a specific project developed by an individual, organization, or business which demonstrated a notable contribution in conserving resources, protecting and enhancing our environment, or developing innovative approaches to environmental challenges. Three finalist presentations from individuals competing for the Chairman’s Award. Individuals can apply to be considered for the Award here.

PE Credits

The Business Council is approved as a sponsor of continuing education for Professional Engineers in New York State. One and a half credits will be awarded for each 90 minute session completed on Thursday, October 30. A certificate will be sent at the completion of the conference.
