2010 Chamber of the Year Award
Join us this year as we launch our Chamber of the Year Award.
The Business Council of New York State, as part of its 30th Anniversary celebration is honoring an outstanding chamber organization and leadership team that make doing business in New York State a better experience for their members.
Categories
- Winners will be announced in first, second and third place.
Eligibility
- The Chamber must display a positive social conscience and commitment to pro-business activities within their community and the state.
- The Chamber must have an established reputation for delivering a high level of programs and services in their community and active in state and local business advocacy.
- The Chamber must show fiscal responsibility for its members and community and have leadership whose talent, vision, expertise, dedication and performance have defined them outstanding Chamber leaders.
- Nominees must have conducted business operations within New York State for the past twelve consecutive months prior to the date of their nomination.
- Nominees must be a member of The Business Council of New York State, Inc. for the past twelve consecutive months prior to the date of their nomination.
- All nominations are accepted at the discretion of The Business Council, and judged by an independently chosen panel.
Nominations
Nominations can be made by a chamber staff or member.
Nominations deadline: nominations must be submitted on-line or by e-mail to cathy.jimenez@bcnys.org at The Business Council office no later than close of business on Monday, August 16, 2010.
