In today's fast-paced society, organizations are continuously looking for competitive advantages to distinguish themselves from their competitors. Increasing revenues, decreasing costs, and deterring fraud should be a goal of every organization. During this training session you will learn about the prevalence of fraud, the character of fraud, fraud schemes, and how your organization can protect itself from incidents of fraud. The procedures discussed at this presentation will assist you in reducing the incidences of fraud and misconduct.

Did you know

  • Current fraud studies show that the average organization loses $9.00 per day per employee or approximately $3,300 a year.
  • Research indicates that fraud thrives under different conditions, however most frauds occur in organizations with less than 100 employees.
  • Most organizations don't realize they are vulnerable to fraud - until they become victims, oftentimes by a trusted employee.
  • Most frauds are discovered accidentally and usually after significant assets have been misappropriated.

You will learn

  • how to foster a positive working environment for your employees and third parties.
  • how to implement a good fraud deterrence program.
  • why corporate governance and fraud prevention has become the norm and not the exception.
