Small Business Center to co-host conference on international trade

The New York State Small Business Development Center will co-host a conference on developing trade between the U.S. and China April 4-5 at the Holiday Inn Turf hotel in Albany.

The conference agenda will include:

  • Presentations on business and trade from government officials and private sector leaders.

  • Updates on commercial opportunities.

  • A discussion of business and trade products.

  • Group sessions to match businesses with trade opportunities.

  • Networking opportunities.

“This is an excellent opportunity for American firms with interests in importing or exporting goods,” said Janet Looby, manager of the Council’s member relations. “This is also an excellent opportunity for business organizations to network with leaders in trade and development.”

More than 120 businesses in China will be represented at the conference, and 50 government officials in foreign trade and business development in China are scheduled to attend.

The New York State Small Business Development Center is co-hosting the conference with the Empire State Development Center, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Commercial Service, and the Capital Region World Trade Center.

Pre-registration is required for the two-day event. For more information, visit www.bcnys.org/whatsnew/events/ustrade.pdf.
