The Business Council’s Labor and Human Resources Committee will meet Tuesday, December 7, at 11 Penn Plaza in Manhattan.

The meeting's agenda includes:

• A discussion of pay trends, practices, and projected salary budgets led by Jennifer Loftus from Astron Solutions of Manhattan.
  
  
• A discussion of New York City’s proposed ergonomics guideline for offices, led by Arlette Loeser from the Ultimate Workspace.
  
  
• A review and discussion on The Business Council's new legislative report card, the Vote for Jobs Index (www.voteforjobsnewyork.com). It evaluates state legislators’ action or inaction on business-friendly legislation during the 2004 legislative session. Tom Minnick, manager of The Council's Center for Human Resources, will lead this session.
  
  
• A review led by Tom Minnick of HR-related legislation that was acted on during the 2004 legislative session.
  

Participants will be provided refreshments and lunch. Recertification of professional human resource credits and senior professional human resource credits are pending.
