ALBANY—Skye Morey Heritage of Clifton Park, Saratoga County, has been appointed manager of regional affairs for The Business Council.

In that role, she serves a liaison between The Council and New York's local and regional chambers of commerce. She will also provide management support to the Chamber Alliance of New York State (CANYS), a statewide association of chamber executives that is affiliated with and administered by The Business Council.

Heritage is a native of DeWitt, Onondaga County. She earned as bachelor's degree in political science and the University of Rochester and a master's in journalism at Syracuse University. She worked the last two years as a television news producer in Toldeo, Ohio.
