Matching College interns and employers
“We are very excited to relaunch InternShop and expand its services to all colleges that are members of The Business Council. This product shows the good that comes when the state's business community partners with New York’s educational institutions to match skilled applicants with their workforce needs.”
– Heather C. Briccetti, Esq., President and CEO, The Business Council of New York State, Inc.

Wednesday, June 7, 2018
InternShop platform is designed to give you, our members, access to the best and brightest college interns from across New York State. InternShop is an exclusive benefit for members of The Business Council. Don't miss out!
What is InternShop?
InternShop is a free program that connects students seeking internship opportunities to Business Council members across New York State. With input from the State University of New York (SUNY) and the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU), we have developed a custom platform which matches students directly with businesses in their field offering paid internships.
How does my business benefit?
InternShop takes the legwork and guesswork out of searching for qualified college interns, saving hours of staff time for small and mid-sized companies. Large companies will benefit from using InternShop to either complement or supplement existing intern and recruitment methods.
InternShop provides your business with year-round access to qualified and capable students ready to bring novel perspectives, fresh ideas and specialized strengths to the job.
