Tax Committee


The Business Council is the leading advocate for business tax issues in New York State. Our Tax Committee is comprised of corporate tax professionals, as well as tax experts from our legal and accounting firms. We focus on legislative and regulatory issues affecting business income and franchise taxes; sales tax matters that impact consumer and business transactions; real property tax assessments and levies; and personal income tax issues including the taxation of business income related to pass-through entities and PIT impacts on employees and residents. The Committee also addresses the tax law aspects of the state's economic development programs.
