TOM MINNICK
Vice President Human Resources
Responsible for: Labor
and Human Resource issues.
Provides state and federal labor and human resource
information to members through The
ResourceLine, The Council's 800 telephone service.
Edits the monthly Human Resource LINE newsletter. Coordinates
the activities of the Labor & Human Resources Committee.
Liaison with: The New York State Department
of Labor, the State Council of the Society for Human Resource
Management and its statewide chapters.

native of Long Island, Tom joined The Business Council in
1997, with over twenty years experience as an HR generalist
and manager for several member companies. He received his
bachelor's degree from Niagara University and his MBA from
Sage Graduate School. Tom holds an SPHR (Senior Professional
in Human Resources) designation from The Society for Human
Resource Management's Certification Institute.
Affiliations include: A national member of The Society
for Human Resource Management and a past member of its National
Legislative Committee. Tom is currently State Legislative
Affairs Director for the New York State Council of the Society
for Human Resource Management, past president and board member
of the Capital Region Human Resource Association, a board
member of the New York Job Service Employer Committee (JSEC),
Inc., and a member of the Business Advisory Council for Northeast
Career Planning.
