EXECUTIVE BUDGET UPDATE
Earlier today Governor Cuomo unveiled is FY 2019 Budget proposal. A copy of the Governor’s press release is available here. Additionally, the state Division of Budget posted the briefing book and other materials on its site, with additional links below.

The Business Council will analyze the proposals and bill language over the next few days and report on relevant items.
GAC Meeting and 2018 Legislative Reception
Please note that we have changed the location for our January 22 Government Affairs Committee meeting and our 2018 Legislators’ Reception. We will hold all of the events at the Albany Capital Center, at 55 Eagle Street, Albany, NY 12207.
Robert Mujica, Director of the NYS Division of Budget will be our guest speaker for the GAC meeting, which will run 11 am to 12:30 pm. All Business Council members are welcome to attend. We ask that participants pre-register here. The agenda is available here. Staff contact: Ken Pokalsky
Also, please join us for our 2018 Legislators’ Reception, Monday evening, January 22, 2018 from 6 to 7:30 pm. This is the premier networking event for our members and we always have a large and diverse crowd of Board Members, general members, legislators and staff, and administration officials.
