Regulatory Reform Proposals

Contact: Ken Pokalsky
August 26, 2013

The Cuomo Administration has again asked for recommendations for regulatory reforms that would improve the state’s economic competitiveness and eliminate barriers to new investments and new jobs in New York State.

The following provides a list of regulatory reform proposals we put together in 2012 based on input from Business Council members. I have included updates in those instances where the Administration has proposed or completed regulatory action since we initially raised these issues.

We are in the process of re-canvassing Council members for additional input.

Note that we have background material, and membership expertise, on each of these subjects, which we can make available to the Administration upon request.

Thanks.
