Senator Bonacic has introduced S.7179,
which deals with real property tax. This bill switches the venue
for real property tax certiorari proceedings outside New York City
Supreme Court to the Tax Appeals Division. Its companion legislation
in the Assembly is A.11000(Parment). |

The Senate bill has been referred to the Committee on Local Governments. The Assembly bill has been referred to the Committee on Real Property Taxation. We have met with the Office of Court Administration which is now internally studying the issue. |
