Administrative Assistant, Conference Development

The Business Council is the state’s leading business advocacy organization, representing more than 2,300 private sector employers doing business in New York.

The ideal candidate will be extremely well-organized, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to provide on-site support for events and conferences. Some evening and weekend work required with minimal travel.

Responsibilities include processing and tracking event registrations of attendees, sponsors and vendors; maintain department inventory, files and records; and prepare conference handout materials and packets.

This position reports directly to Director of Conference Development and provides support to the department’s Manager.
