“We are very excited to relaunch InternShop and expand its services to all colleges that are members of The Business Council. This product shows the good that comes when the state's business community partners with New York’s educational institutions to match skilled applicants with their workforce needs.”
– Heather C. Briccetti, Esq., President and CEO, The Business Council of New York State, Inc.
The Business Council is excited to be relaunching InternShop on a new online platform. Join us for the webinar to learn about the new and improved InternShop platform designed to give you, our members, access to the best and brightest college interns from across New York State. InternShop is an exclusive benefit for members of The Business Council.
InternShop is a free program that connects students seeking internship opportunities to Business Council members across New York State. We have developed a custom platform with input from the State University of New York (SUNY) and the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU), which connects students directly with businesses in their field offering paid internships.
InternShop takes the legwork and guesswork out of searching for qualified college interns, saving hours of staff time for small and mid-sized companies. Large companies will benefit from using InternShop to either complement or supplement existing intern and recruitment methods.
InternShop provides your business with year-round access to qualified and capable students ready to bring novel perspectives, fresh ideas and specialized strengths to the job.
Your business must first be a member of The Business Council of New York State, Inc. If you are already a member you can sign on at https://internshop.bcnys.org. If you are not currently a member of The Business Council, please contact Howard Becker for information about joining.
